Des Moines, Iowa
This week I visited the capital of Iowa, Des Moines. Had to go there for an early morning appointment and decided to go sightseeing afterwards. Adventure time! Visited to Zombie Burger + Drink Lab and had an amazing chicken sandwich with a Zombie theme. After lunch I visited the Blank Park Zoo.
Since, it’s Fall and just above freezing, quite a few of the animals were not on display. I did get to see giraffes (my favorite zoo animal), lion, tiger and wallabies oh my! It was interesting to see how different the Australian animals are from the rest of the world and how big Africa’s animals are. Guess depending on where you live, you evolve to survive. I don’t plan on gaining any blubber to survive winter though. Then we went to the Asian garden. The balance and design of Asian gardens are beautiful. Des Moines is an interesting Midwest city with lots to see, do and eat.
Right now it sounds like WordPress is the preferred blogging platform out there right now.

It is! I’m still learning more as I continue blogging.
